PlumChoice Establishes New Training Facility to Support Growing Subscriber Base
As many as 70 tech support agents to be hired, attend training in Colorado this year
BROOMFIELD, CO – (April 29, 2014) – PlumChoice, Inc., the company that partners with leading brands to sell and deliver advanced tech support services that redefine excellence in customer experience, today announced the opening of its new training facility at the company’s Broomfield, CO location.
PlumChoice converted 1,044 square feet of its existing 6,264 square-foot space on West 120th Avenue to serve as a training facility and call center for as many as 70 new technical support agents this year. Through the company’s expanded hub-and-spoke recruitment model, it can hire classes of 10 employees every month. New agents will be trained in-house then transition to work-from-home positions upon successful completion of the program.
This recruitment and training initiative will enable PlumChoice to quickly deploy technical agents to serve the company’s growing base of white-label tech support subscribers. The advancement of technology and the evolving demand for value-added technical services has led to 48 percent growth in the PlumChoice subscriber base since the fall of 2012.
“Truly innovative brands have been working with PlumChoice for 14 years to deliver a wealth of service for an evolving set of interconnected products and services,” said Bob Badavas, CEO of PlumChoice. “Our business is growing because consumers and SMBs are demanding more control over ‘The Internet of Things’. They want a continuous service experience with more optimization and integration, as well as assistance using and enjoying their technology environments. Most ISPs, manufacturers and retailers don’t have the resources or the breadth of technical knowledge to provide this level of tech support, while we’ve been doing it for years.”
News of the Broomfield office expansion and hiring plans comes on the heels of a similar announcement about PlumChoice’s Lowell, Mass., headquarters earlier this month. The company added more than 7,000 square feet to its 37,000-square-foot footprint at that location to make way for a new training facility and hundreds of new agents in the coming year. The company’s Broomfield office originated with the purchase of Everon Technology Services in 2010.
“PlumChoice is a trusted partner for top brands and organizations due to the caliber of our agents, their breadth of technical expertise and our collective commitment to creating exceptional customer experiences,” said David Temlak, senior vice president of customer service, innovation and delivery at PlumChoice. “This new facility allows us to leverage talent in and around the Broomfield area so we can continue to grow and evolve our team as technology – and consumers’ and small businesses’ use of it – advances.”
