Proven leader in the technology sector, Shimoni brings a strategic vision and unmatched leadership qualities to PlumChoice’s growing business
LOWELL, Mass., (August 16, 2016) – PlumChoice, Inc., the leading provider of premium technical services to service providers, IoT manufacturers, distributors and cloud solution providers announced today that David Shimoni has been appointed president and chief executive officer, effective immediately. David succeeds Bob Badavas who has led the company over the past four years through its expansion into IoT and cloud support and services.
Shimoni brings with him a strong background across several high-growth markets, including cloud and IoT. He has held several executive sales and management positions focused on accelerating growth and transforming businesses to maximize market presence and shareholder value. Most recently, Shimoni was president and general manager at Mformation Software Technologies, a leading provider of mobile device management (MDM) solutions for the IoT space. There, he repositioned the company for high growth in the IoT market and played an instrumental role in leading the company through its acquisition by Alcatel-Lucent in 2015. Shimoni will lead PlumChoice as the company continues to work with leading brands in providing exemplary concierge-level services to end users across multiple market segments.

Prior to Mformation Software Technologies, Shimoni served in executive leadership roles at market leaders including Comverse Network Systems, Mobixell Networks and Networks In Motion. He holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering and an MBA degree in Marketing and International Business from Columbia Business School.
