David Shimoni, Chief Executive Officer
David brings to PlumChoice a strong background across several high-growth markets, including cloud and IoT. He has held several executive sales and management positions focused on accelerating growth and transforming businesses to maximize market presence and shareholder value. Prior to joining PlumChoice in August 2016, David was President and GM at Mformation Software Technologies, a leading provider of mobile device management (MDM) solutions in the IoT space. There, he repositioned the company for high growth in the IoT market and played an instrumental role in leading the company through its acquisition by Alcatel-Lucent in 2015.
David has also served in executive leadership roles at market leaders including Comverse Network Systems, a $1.2B public telecom software company; Mobixell Networks, a VC-backed provider of intelligent mobile broadband solutions; and Networks in Motion, a VC-backed location-based services provider. He holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering and an MBA degree in Marketing and International Business from Columbia Business School.
David L. Temlak, Chief Technology Officer and SVP B2B Operations
Leading a technical community of more than 100 team members. Dave is responsible for PlumChoice’s advanced environment of systems, business applications, and tools used in the sales, customer service and delivery of our consumer and SMB services. Dave leads the B2B service delivery team focused on delivering technical support, cloud migration and managed services to the SMB market. Dave has a history of improving customer satisfaction by exceeding current and future needs for program, content, service and systems implementation while reducing operating budgets and improving customer service. This has been accomplished through coordinated planning, process improvement and technology augmentation over his 25+ year career in a variety of technical and leadership positions.
Dave was Co-Founder of Speaking of Customer Service, a full service consulting firm dedicated to helping customer contact professionals and their companies meet and exceed their customers’ expectations. Before entering the world of consulting, he was SVP of Customer Service for SupportSoft, where he helped build Support.Com, a residential remote PC repair service, and SVP of Customer Care at Time Warner Cable (TWC) and Road Runner. He was ultimately responsible for providing support to TWC’s 13+ million customers for all product lines (video, high-speed data, phone). In those positions, he was pivotal to TWC/Road Runner winning multiple JD Power awards for providing the highest customer satisfaction among residential and commercial high-speed internet and telephone service providers. A graduate of Boston’s Northeastern University, Dave holds a BS in Electrical Engineering with an Option in Computer Science.
David Hauser leads the go-to-market strategy and execution of the company’s cloud services line of business. His responsibilities span market development, product management, strategic alliances, sales, and partner management.
Prior to PlumChoice, David served in senior executive roles, including Vice President at IDC, where he drove marketing, product and customer service management efforts for products targeting technology and investment communities; Senior Vice President at NameMedia, where he led marketing, product management and business operations; and Channel Chief at Carbonite, where he helped grow the company’s indirect business by more than 100 percent. CRN named David as a Channel Chief in both 2013 and 2014. He has a bachelor’s degree in Economics and History from University of California, San Diego and an MBA from Boston College.
Bing joined PlumChoice in 2009, with more than 24 years of engineering and professional consulting experience, Bing is responsible for providing both internal and external clients with effective IT solutions to achieve the best ROI. Bing guides both internal and external clients to a technical vision, focused on building and managing engineering resources, developing and delivering cost-effective enterprise software solutions and establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial engagements. Bing has a close partnership with AT&T, who relies upon Bing and his team to develop and support a proprietary order management system.
Bing is a Silicon Valley veteran having worked in technology leadership roles at Sun Microsystems, AOL, Netscape, Royal Bank of Canada, and IBM. Bing’s career has been spent knee-deep in pre-sales, architecture, design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise IT solutions. Bing holds both an MS and BS in Computer Science from the University of Toronto.
Rich is responsible for shaping PlumChoices’s technology vision and delivering innovative solutions to its customers. He and his team are responsible for the evolution, development, and delivery of the revolutionary, industry leading PlumChoice customer experience. As a seasoned entrepreneur, Rich has earned the reputation for building version 1.0 products from the ground-up in high scale, high security, and mission critical environments.
Prior to joining PlumChoice in 2013, Rich was a Co-Founder of Axeda where he built their IoT platform and cloud service which handled over 300 million transactions per day, and was ultimately acquired by PTC. Rich has a 30+ year career in hands-on technology, management, and executive management in positions at Axeda, PCSoft, FactorySoft, Ionics, Sapient, Telco Systems Corp, and Analog Devices, where change is constant. Rich holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University in Boston.
Leading both the Finance and Sales Operations teams at PlumChoice, Dave is responsible for all aspects of the company’s financial management and reporting activities, FP&A and forecasting initiatives, sales administration and pipeline management, and legal and banking relationships.
Dave has over 25 years of executive experience in a wide-range of finance, accounting and business operations roles, with a focus on strategic initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and re-organizations and integrations. Prior to PlumChoice, Dave held a variety of senior management positions in technology, software and telecom industries at companies including; Mformation Software Technologies (acquired by Nokia), Airwide Solutions (acquired by Mitel), and Metronet Canada (acquired by AT&T). Dave holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Missouri State University, an MBA from the University of Missouri – Kansas City and a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from Washington University in St Louis.
Chris Phaneuf, Vice President Human Resources and B2C Operations
Chris joined PlumChoice in January of 2014 as Vice President, Human Resources bringing more than 15 years of experience in technology and start-up companies to the PlumChoice team. Chris’ initial responsibilities included HR and training, followed by workforce management and quality assurance. In November of 2015, she assumed leadership for our consumer-focused premium technical support, customer care, and telesales functions
Prior to joining PlumChoice, Chris held a variety of human resource leadership roles within RSA Security (acquired by EMC), TIBCO, Carbonite, and Gazelle among others. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources from Boston University.
