Cathy from Bellevue, WA "I first heard about PlumChoice on a radio ad. We had been having trouble with our computer freezing on or off line, slow response time, etc. Our sons couldn't count on their school work getting done due to lost information when it would freeze, and we were afraid to backup valuable files (like tax information and our son's priceless snowboarding videos they had spent so much time producing) worrying the computer might freeze... ...in the process. Local (computer help) companies I contacted told me I'd have to take the computer in to their shop and regardless of how crappy the computer was performing we didn't want to be without a computer for the length of time it would be in the shop, and more importantly, we were told that we would no doubt lose our files in the process of cleaning up the computer. Finally late one Friday afternoon I had enough and decided to contact PlumChoice. Shortly after leaving contact information on their website I got a call from a PlumChoice representative and we set up a convenient time for a tech to call us the next afternoon -- a Sat.!! -- and help us. The call came in right on time and my husband worked with your tech Barbara for nearly an hour. He kept yelling "You guys have got to see this," as Barbara took control of our computer from a remote site and went about scanning files for viruses and adware. At the end of the session we thought all was well but soon we began getting wierd error messages so I contacted PlumChoice again. This time it was my turn to talk to Barbara, something I was nervous about as I consider myself "computer illiterate", and wasn't looking forward to working with a computer wiz and exposing my lack of knowledge. To my surprise Barbara was as easy to talk to as a good friend. It was a real kick watching as she took control of our computer and scanned files, removing damaging viurses and adware which seemed to somehow be multiplying as I watched. Working with Barbara was a real pleasure; incredibly professional and just plain nice. I take customer service very seriously, and was extremely satisified with my experience with Barbara and PlumChoice. I know my husband feels the same. I wish I had contacted PlumChoice months before I had. They provide a very valuable service and people should know how easy it is to get those frustrating computer problems fixed. When we got the bill we were surprised at how little it cost, under $60, and we weren't charged for the second session with Barbara. PlumChoice is a fantastic company. Please let me know if there is anything else I can add. I can't say enough about PlumChoice. I've recommended your company to everyone who has complained to me about their computer troubles. Cathy |
