Windows XP Step by Step Instructions for removing Temp Files
Step 1
Right click on the Start Button and choose 'Explore'.
The Start Menu Explorer Window will open and display the folder list on the left side of the window and the Files list on the right side of the window.
Locate your profile (user name) folder (see example 'Barbara') under the 'Documents and Settings' folder and click on the + next to it.
Next single click on the 'Cookies' folder to display all the cookies in the files list.
Hold down the CTRL and A keys to select all the cookies listed and press the 'DEL' key to delete all the cookies.
The confirmation window will pop up. Select 'Yes'.
