Getting rid of Spyware
The best way to keep your computer running smoothly is to prevent the installation of spyware. Spyware is designed to be difficult to remove. There are many tools available to help remove spyware but we have not found an application that can remove all spyware completely.
Most spyware is designed to evade attempts to remove it from your PC by hiding in parts of your computer that are not easy to locate and extract. This allows the nuisance spyware to reinstall itself after it has supposedly been removed.
If your computer becomes infected with spyware, you will want to make sure it is completely removed prior to taking the steps mentioned in the later sections of this guide to keep your computer clean. Below are several steps that you can take to get started:
Find tools which are available on the Web and specifically designed to remove spyware. Be careful not to remove files which are required to run programs you need in the daily operation of your PC.
Use an online service such as PlumChoice, which provides certified technicians who can safely remove spyware from your computer through remote control.
Some spyware can be very difficult to remove and ultimately may require you to reload your computer's Operating System (Windows XP/2000/ME/98) to return it to factory settings and essentially clearing out all unwanted and unnecessary files.
The rest of this guide has been designed to help you remain vigilant and prevent the re-infection of spyware and other threats on your computer.
If you think your computer is infected with spyware and need help, contact PlumChoice at 1-888-758-6435 or schedule an online computer service call.
